I know that tending hives and connecting with bees in the way I do is not mainstream.  It's not even very common.  But I also know there is a growing number of you who feel the same way I do about bees, earth guardianship, and the magic of relating to the more-than-human world.

I've had the great pleasure of meeting many of you - being inspired by you, humbled by you, brought to tears, and brought closer to the living pulse with you.

This community is a response to you. 

To all of you who have longed for more connections, kinship, friendship, and resources.

Kindred is a contemporary hive of practice, where the bees are teachers and beekeeping is relationship. Through shared inquiry, seasonal rhythm, and practical guidance, we tend the living bond between humans and bees with respect.
